The internet and television has been down for parts of Tuggeranong for two days due to difficult conditions preventing crews from fixing the problem. Several people lost television reception just after 11am on Tuesday due to a power outage at the translator station on Tuggeranong Hill. “Our crews are facing difficult conditions to access the site after the road deteriorated in recent heavy rain,” an Evo Energy spokeswoman said. “Together with Broadcast Australia, we are working quickly and safely to restore backup power to the translator station and restoration is under way.” It is not yet known how many residents have been impacted. The Canberra Times has received several reports from residents unable to access television and internet.
