It’s “really regrettable” how far the WHO has been prepared to go to “accommodate China’s political concerns,” says the Australian Strategic Policy Institute’s Peter Jennings.
“The truth of the matter is the Chinese Communist Party’s handling of COVID has been a disaster from start to finish,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“At every single step of the way China has prevented an open investigation of something which then was responsible for causing a global pandemic – and we have seen millions of people now die as a result of it,” he said.
