A woman has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after her car crashed on the Monaro Highway. Police are on scene and at 8pm one southbound lane was expected to remain closed for some time. Firefighters freed the woman in her late teens from the car on Wednesday evening after it flipped on its side. Paramedics treated her at the scene for abdominal and multiple lower limb injuries.
