South Australia recorded two new COVID-19 cases detected from travellers in hotel quarantine.

NSW health authorities are still investigating the source of a case in Moss Vale reported on Saturday.

This could delay the NSW-Queensland border reopening if Queensland maintains its position of requiring NSW to record 28 days without unlinked community transmissions.

Queensland has previously imposed a 48-hour deadline to link cases to known clusters before it resets the so-called border clock.
