After being refused bail, the 53-year-old was transferred to the Melbourne Custody Centre where, during a search, a small zip lock bag containing a white crystal substance was found inside their bra.
Loose crystals were also found embedded within the cups of the garment, according to a police summary of the case.
On Wednesday, Magistrate Jack Vandersteen granted an application from police to place Ms Laidley on a diversion order for the offences, which include methamphetamine possession, with the charges to be struck out if she is of good behaviour for the next four months.
As part of the order, Ms Laidley must also write a letter of gratitude to the police officer involved in the case after they recommended her for diversion.
“Ms Laidley is contrite; Ms Laidley is well supported in the community. I am also of the view that the offending before the court is at the lower end,” Mr Vandersteen said.

“I don’t see it necessary for there to be any further condition given the support Ms Laidley has in the community.
“If you otherwise stay out of trouble the charges before the court will otherwise be dismissed.”
The magistrate said Ms Laidley had no prior criminal history and had entered into” very significant” treatment and rehabilitation following her arrest.
Mr Vandersteen said in approving the matter for a diversion order, he had also taken into account the significant media interest in the case and the release of a photograph into the public realm earlier this year.
An image of Ms Laidley was leaked following her arrest in May and depicted her wearing a blonde wig and makeup while being interviewed in a Melbourne police station.
Victoria Police’s professional standards command are investigating the matter.
The matter will return to court on March 11 to ensure the 53-year-old has met the conditions of her court order.
