Iota was forecast to produce flash flooding, landslides, and life-threatening storm surge in parts of Central America as a Category 1 hurricane on Tuesday, November 17, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC). Iota made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane along the northeastern coast of Nicaragua on Monday night, the NHC said. Alejandro Rojas said this video showing rain and wind was taken in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, at 2 am on Tuesday.
