coronavirus,

Canberra is once again free of active coronavirus infections as the only patient in the territory has recovered. The diplomat in his 30s became Canberra’s 115th case on November 18. The news came as the ACT is set to reach the next restrictions checkpoint on Friday. Travel rules were relaxed further this week as Victorian travellers were once again allowed to enter the ACT without quarantine after a four-month lock-out. Meanwhile, 120 Australians will return to the ACT on Thursday as the first repatriation flight lands in the capital since June. The flight from Singapore is due to land before midday when passengers will be screened and taken to the Pacific Suites hotel. There have been more than 118,300 tests conducted throughout the pandemic. Of Canberra’s 115 tally, three people have died and 112 have recovered.
