Victorians will today be told which COVID-19 restrictions will loosen again, as the state records its 37th consecutive day of no new cases.
Premier Daniel Andrews and Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton are expected to hold a press conference later this morning to announce a new set of restriction easing measures which the Premier has previously stated will be in place for the majority of summer.
Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton told a state parliamentary committee on Friday afternoon that Victoria was ultimately moving to a “phase where there is even more limited use of masks in public”.
Density limits for venues are also likely to increase as part of the announcements.
Sundays zero cases came as a result of 8377 tests conducted on Saturday.
More to come.
