For weekdays from 5.30am to midnight, Nova106.9 opened up a strong 1.4 percentage-point lead over Triple M, a slight increase compared with the last survey results.

B105 went from hot on the heels of Triple M during the last survey to way behind this time around.

4KQ surged 2 percentage points into the fifth most popular position, while 4BC lost 1.7 percentage points to go from third to sixth.

For breakfast, Nova106.9’s Ash, Kip, Luttsy & Susie extended their lead at the top to 2.4 percentage points, while Triple M’s The Big Breakfast with Marto, Margaux & Nick Cody – which recently farewelled Nick Cody – surged from fourth to second with a 0.8 percentage point increase in their listenership.

B105’s Stav, Abby & Matt, ABC’s Craig Zonca & Loretta Ryan and 97.3FM’s Robin, Terry & Bob all suffered small dips in their audience share as a result of the new top two stations.

4KQ’s Laurel, Gary & Mark had a big win by claiming an extra 3.1 percentage points of the audience share. 4BC Breakfast with Neil Breen lost 1.5 percentage points and went from second to sixth.

For the Drive time slot, Nova106.9’s Kate, Tim & Joel – which recently welcomed Joel Creasey in place of Marty Sheargold – extended their lead from 2.9 to 4.5 percentage points over B105’s Hughesy and Ed, who slipped by 1.5 percentage points in the latest survey.

ABC Brisbane’s Steve Austin climbed by 1.7 percentage points, while 4KQ’s Nick Michaels enjoyed a 1.2 percentage-point jump in the time slot.
