It will feature a cellar door inspired by the winery’s Swan Valley headquarters for punters to sample Mandoon’s award-winning wines, and a licensed bar, lounge, and sitting area.

Mandoon does not plan to sell any food at the premises but customers will be able to order a feed from more than 100 other stalls available within the market grounds.
“We intend to run wine appreciation courses, tasting sessions, guided and unguided wine flights and food pairing events with produce sold within the Origins Market,” the license application read.
Named after the winery’s famous Homestead Brewery, the store will also sell packaged takeaway alcohol.
Mandoon Estate general manager Travers O’Rafferty said the company was “thrilled” to be involved in the project, which would showcase extraordinary WA produce.
“As a WA boutique producer of fine wine and craft beer we take every opportunity to support local, and we are very excited to partner with Origins market to showcase just how exceptional WA produce is,” he said.
“We look forward to being a part of an exciting hub of WA food and beverage producers.”
Located off West Street next to Aldi, Origins Market will be an indoor market hub featuring 110 vendors from across the state selling exclusively local and ethically sourced produce and brews.
The space will also be used for live demonstrations and entertainment.
Developed by Erceg Management, the powerhouse behind Mandoon Estate’s flagship Swan Valley premises, the market grounds will feature an interior urban garden with edible herbs and long dining tables.
The market will have glass highlight windows with views of the Vasse-Wonnerup Wetlands and host events including wine crushing and chef demonstrations.
Erceg Management director and Mandoon Estate owner Allan Erceg said the markets would create a space like no other in the state.
“A place for both local and visiting shoppers to engage with the region’s most celebrated farmers, producers, winemakers, artisans, and creators – all under one roof,” he said.
“If the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us anything, it is that while globalisation has many benefits, cherishing and appreciating what is right in front of us and what is produced locally is far better for our health and our planet too.”
Origins Market will officially open in the summer of 2021.
