Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina was full of travelers on Wednesday, December 23, as passengers flew ahead of the holidays, footage taken on that day shows. The airport is anticipating up to 80,000 daily connecting passengers along with as many as 15,000 local passengers during peak travel days before and after Christmas, local media report. There are no travel restrictions in place for North Carolina as of Wednesday, according to the State of North Carolina, and visitors do not have to quarantine upon arrival.
