Two-time Dakar Rally winner Toby Price was airlifted to hospital after crashing out of the race last night.
The 33-year-old Australian was taken to Tabuk in northwestern Saudi Arabia for X-rays on an injured left arm and shoulder after the incident 155 kilometres into the ninth stage.
Price, who won the 2016 and 2019 Dakars, was only one minute behind leader Nacho Cornejo at the time of the crash.
The gruelling two-week event is due to finish on Friday (local time).
