Camping orange cake with a twist
Miz-C: “Campfire Cakes …
– Oranges cut in half, eat the orange.
– Cake mix, make to the directions.
– Fill one half orange shell with cake mix, place the empty half on top of the cake filled half, and wrap with two or three layers of alfoil. Make sure it is wrapped tightly.
– Place in coals, not actual flames. Turn every three minutes.
– Test one after 9 minutes, won’t be much longer than that. Thank me later 😀❤️”

Iron skillet roast pork with bacon

Dave G: “Backyard breakfast – baked apples. [Recipe] Three [apples] cored, but not all the way through. Stuffed with brown sugar, cinnamon and a slab of butter on top. I also added the same to the bottom of the tin [then] put apples into tin. Combine flour, sugar, and some salt ahead of time, then mix together with eggs and milk over the fire and plop in berries as the final step. Smaller pan on top as it cooks.
