Stabbing incidents in Isabella Plains and Charnwood have police calling for witnesses to the crimes. A 31-year-old man allegedly stabbed in the back after an aggravated burglary at his address on Werriwa Crescent in Isabella Plains has been transported to hospital in a serious condition. Police believe up to three people may have responsible for the assault that took place before 8am on Sunday morning. The first alleged offender is described as a woman, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 170cm or 5’6″ in height, with a slim build, black hair and a green ink tattoo on her neck. The second alleged offender is described as a Caucasian woman approximately 50 years old, with a large build, and 160cm or 5’2″ in height. The third alleged offender is described as a Caucasian man approximately 160cm or 5’2″ in height, with a shaved head and wearing grey shorts and a grey jumper. A second, unrelated incident occurred in Charnwood after midnight on Sunday morning in which a 28-year-old man received lacerations to his chest, legs and arms. The victim fled to another property on Kerrigan Street in Charnwood where he received assistance and was treated by paramedics. Police believe up to three people may be responsible for the assault.
