Emergency services, including paramedics, critical care and high acuity and police arrived on scene at Compton Road and Logan Road, Slacks Creek just before 7am Friday morning. A man believed to riding a motorcycle before being struck by a car, was assessed for critical injuries but is believed to have died at the scene.
A 60-year-old woman believed to be the driver of the car, has been transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for observational precautions. Police have warned the intersection at Compton road and Baker Street will be closed for some time this morning, with long delated expected.
