Cameron McDougal, 26, of Whalan, was arrested after a search warrant on February 16, and faced Mt Druitt Local Court for the first time on Wednesday.He is charged with six counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of aggravated break-and-enter, two counts of destroying property using fire, two counts of driving a conveyance without consent of the owner, breaking out of a dwelling after an indictable offence, driving with a cancelled licence, unlawful entry on prescribed lands, larceny, supplying a prohibited drug, having goods in custody suspected to be stolen, and possessing ammunition without a permit.A co-accused, Paul Hornby, was charged with aggravated break and enter, driving while disqualified, making a false statement in purported compliance with an act, steal and break out of dwelling, damage property by fire, and obtaining a financial advantage by deception earlier this month.He has not entered a plea to any charges.

The charges stem from allegations ranging from November 1 last year to February 16.According to court documents, police will allege Mr McDougal broke into a carpark on the Kingsway, Dee Why, to steal a black Audi A4 on November 1, 2020.Two weeks later, on November 14, Mr McDougal allegedly stole a Nissan Qashqai from an address on The Avenue, Mt Druitt, and drove it while his licence was cancelled.Police will allege Mr McDougal drove the black Audi A4 to St Marys where he was allegedly involved in setting Knockout Nutrition on fire along with Mr Hornby.Then, on November 25, police will allege Mr McDougal broke into Windsor Toyota where he allegedly stole a licence plate from the premises.They will allege he then drove the Nissan Qashqai to Rouse Hill Town Centre where he allegedly set the Knockout Nutrition store on fire.

Almost two months later, on January 24, police will allege he stole a black Suzuki DRZ400 from a carpark on Military Rd, Mosman.Police also allege Mr McDougal was involved with trying to dispose of six stolen vehicles, namely the black Suzuki DRZ400, a Ford Mustang, an Audi Q7, a Volkswagen Tiguan, a BMW X5, and a Mercedes C220.He also allegedly knowingly took part in the supply of methylamphetamine, was found with several items police suspect were stolen, and allegedly possessed ammunition without holding a valid permit.Mr McDougal did not apply for bail before Magistrate James Gibson at Mt Druitt Local Court, and his matter was adjourned until April for a brief of evidence.He will next appear at Mt Druitt Local Court on April 14.
