A quiet suburban street in Page will remain locked down for 24 hours as police scour the scene of a crime which has left one man dead and three others badly injured. Officers were called to a disturbance on Braine Street about 9am on Saturday, where they found an injured man outside a house near the Hannaford Street playground. While police were providing first aid to the man, they say another man rushed at the officers. Officers tasered the man and took him into custody. Inside the house, police found a deceased man and a woman who was injured. The man found outside the house and the woman have undergone surgery, though their current medical condition remains unknown. A large-scale police operation has been established at the street, with forensic teams scouring the area for evidence. The area around the house has been cordoned off and large protective barriers have been put in place. Panoramic cameras have been set up to record three-dimensional images of the scene. More to come.
