Married at First Sight pulled in 1.26 million viewers nationally, 944,000 in the metros and 316,000 in the regions. Framing Britney Spears, with 622,000 viewers, followed. Her story is too terrible not to be true. So many are now apologising for what happened to Spears since the documentary was released — a bit late. Legal system, music industry, and her family and friends failed her — only teenage fans believed in her and eventually exposed her abuse.

ABC’s Foreign Correspondent drew in 657,000 nationally and was the 11th most watched program nationally.

Nine’s night — tonight the channel will debut Amazing Grace after  Married at First Sight. I hope the crassness of the latter doesn’t undermine the audience for Grace. Seven has the first of a three part UK murder series and Ten has The Cube. The ABC has Hard Quiz and The Weekly with Charlie Pickering.
