Police in the Monaro district have called on the public to help them locate a wanted man. Officers said on Sunday that Timothy Powell was “known to frequent the Queanbeyan and Canberra areas”. Police said there were warrants out for the 38-year-old’s arrest, but gave no indication as to why. Anyone with information on Mr Powell’s whereabouts has been urged to contact Monaro Police on 02 6298 0599, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
