Canberra Day has officially launched with Skywhale mama and papa taking to the skies at Breakfast With Balloons. While the limited tickets were sold out, this did not stop Canberrans from huddling outside the barricades before dawn to witness the extraordinary event. This was Skywhalepapa’s second public appearance after making his debut on February 7. Unlike his debut where stormy weather held Skywhalepapa back from flying, Canberra’s favorite airborne father finally left the ground with his pups in tow.
