The IPA’s Policy Director Gideon Rozner says there is no suggestion of supply side economic reform from the government such as the cutting of red tape.

“There is no suggestion of wholesale tax cuts for example or labour market reform,” Mr Rozner told Sky News.

“Or things like cuts to red tape, things that would actually make it easier to start a business in this country and to employ people to actually get people economic empowerment.

“Both sides of politics seem to be interested in printing more money to fling it in whichever direction seems right at the time.

“We just borrow against the next generation and hope for the best.”
