Victoria is expected to have recorded a 26th consecutive day of no new coronavirus cases, according to Premier Daniel Andrews.
While spruiking his landmark coronavirus recovery budget on Breakfast television, Mr Andrews said no new cases again would likely mean an announcement today from the Queensland government on its border re-opening with Victoria.
“As of midnight last night we had no new cases,” he told the Today program.
The time has come to open those borders and I am confident that is exactly what will happen.
