Good afternoon everyone, welcome to our coverage of day two of the first Test at the Adelaide Oval.
There will be a bit happening today. Of course, there’s the action out on the field, where Australia are marginally ahead of the game, and news off it, with the situation in Sydney and its implications for the third Test at the SCG.
Firstly, to the action on the field. India will resume on 6/233 with Wriddhiman Saha and Ravi Ashwin at the crease. Much rests on this pair for India as Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah are not the best credentialled tailenders. They average 11, 11 and three respectively.
And to the news from Sydney, where the future of the third Test is up in the air due to the coronavirus outbreak on the Northern Beaches. This is Jon Pierik’s report of the latest news.
