Australia v India: Third Test at the SCG
Morning all! This topsy-turvy series has arrived in Sydney – come hell or high water – for a keenly anticipated third installment. With the series locked at 1-1, and a trip to Brisbane on the horizon (supposedly, apparently, maybe not, who knows) the time very much is now for this talented and spirited Indian team to make its move.
But the Aussies will know they aren’t far away from their best cricket either. It might only take one breakthrough Steve Smith innings, or an hour or two of a returning David Warner, or yet another big time Pat Cummins spell. This series has been on a knife’s edge since its opening day, and the mood is still sharpening.
So stick with myself and Jon Healy today and through the duration of the Test. It’s sure to be a cracker.
