Police are investigating after a teenager was shot on a street in South Granville on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Clyde Street at about 1.40pm after receiving reports of a shooting from a member of the public.
They were then told a 17-year-old boy had been taken to Auburn Hospital by car, with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
The boy has since been transported to Westmead Hospital in a “serious but stable” condition, a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have established a crime scene and investigations are under way.
