The West Belconnen COVID-19 testing clinic will close tomorrow allowing the facility to return to providing child and family services. Meanwhile the Kambah drive-through COVID-19 testing site will suspend its operations between Saturday and Monday due to extreme heat expected over the weekend. The facility is expected to reopen on Tuesday, January 26. Canberrans are still able to get free COVID-19 tests at drive-through sites at Garran Oval, Weston Creek, and EPIC. Free testing is also available by appointment at YourGP@Crace and Lakeview Medical Practice in Tuggeranong. Winnunga Nimmityjah Respiratory Clinic also provides free testing to Indigenous Canberrans and existing clients. No new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the ACT. The ACT currently has zero active cases of the virus. Over the last 24 hours, the ACT has recorded 427 COVID-19 tests.
