Sky News host Andrew Bolt says he thinks Joe Biden’s team is “protecting” the 78-year-old who seems at times to even “forget who is actually the president”.
“How weak is Joe Biden,” Mr Bolt said.
“No American president in the past century has gone longer than 33 days before holding their first press conference.
“But Joe Biden has waited nearly double that. He won’t hold his first press conference until Thursday, which is 64 days after taking office,” Mr Bolt said.
“But the biggest question right now about Biden’s weakness is about his handling of illegal immigrants.
“Just before becoming president, he appealed to the left by attacking president Donald trump … attacking his tough controls on the Mexican border, and Biden all but invited illegal immigrants to come on over the border if he became president”.
“And illegal immigrants believed him, especially when Biden as president scrapped many of Trump’s border policies.
“There are now more illegal immigrants crashing the Mexican border into the United States than in 20 years, and 15,000 unaccompanied children are now in detention.”
Mr Bolt spoke to Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen about these issues.
