Police investigating a barber in Kent for allegedly cutting hair during the lockdown got all the proof they needed when the barber’s phone rang and a would-be customer could be heard saying “I’m out the back.” Bodycam video released by Kent Police shows officers saw the funny side of the encounter, but the barber was nonetheless fined, they said. Kent Police said the encounter was on January 27. The force said on February 3 that 993 fines had been handed out for breaching COVID restrictions since the start of the year.
