Sharing investment tips and inspiration, Equity Mates is a podcast created and hosted by Bryce Leske and Alec Renehan, aiming to prompt millennials to start their own financial journeys.
The series started in 2017. Renehan was just starting out investing in stocks, and turned to his university friend Leske for advice.

“I grew up in a family [where] you save, you get a mortgage, you put all your wealth into a house, and that was the Australian dream. [Bryce] really sparked the idea of investing, but I really didn’t know anything,” Renehan said.
“We were interested in doing something public, for a couple of reasons. One is to hold ourselves accountable, but also as an excuse to speak to people we wouldn’t otherwise get to speak to. Bryce had the idea of making it a podcast, and the rest is history.”
