What was that about a shootout?

All the talk going into this game was about Patrick Mahomes versus Tom Brady, and how we were looking at a high-scoring Super Bowl LV.

So far, not so much.

The biggest play so far has been Ronald Jones busting a run for a first down for Tampa Bay, and both quarterbacks have had to deal with big pressure from the defense.

The Chiefs and Buccaneers are sending serious pass rushes, both on the edge and down the middle. If the offensive lines can’t find a way to give the passers some time, it could be a long day.

Look, you wouldn’t back against one (or both) of these quarterbacks getting the scoring going in a hurry.

But for now, the defenses are putting it to Mahomes and Brady – can they respond?
