Service NSW has been hit by an issue affecting “multiple” transactions and services, including its mobile application used for mandatory COVID Safe venue check-ins.

The state government agency on Thursday afternoon said it is working to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

A number of users have reported being unable to log-in to the app and having correct pins rejected.

Earlier on Thursday, some Service NSW app users were sent notifications regarding applications for the state’s “Dine & Discover” voucher scheme.

It is being rolled out this month after a trial in Potts Point and Broken Hill, and an expansion to the Sydney CBD, northern beaches and Bega Valley last month.

Every adult in NSW will receive four $25 vouchers to spend separately on dining and entertainment to support cafés, restaurants and cultural institutions.

Two of the vouchers can be redeemed in restaurants, cafés and clubs and two vouchers can be used for entertainment such as cultural institutions, performing arts, cinemas and amusement parks.
