Its lucrative brewing partnership with Optus Stadium was recently extended for a further five years to 2027, a contract to froth about given sales have grown 162 per cent and employees doubled to 132 since their first beer was poured in 2018. Last year it opened the Atomic Beer Project brewery-restaurant in Sydney’s hip Redfern, its first venue interstate, and purchased state-of-the-art brewing equipment from Germany, which it has yet to fully utilise given supply in WA and interstate was severely down due to COVID.

Gage has several other exciting developments in the pipeline while Matso’s James Purcell said the brewery would continue to develop and tweak brews as drinking habits changed and evolved.

Matso’s said its recent research spurred it to make its wildly-popular original ginger brew more consumer-friendly.
