Police, ambulance officers and the fire brigade have cleared the scene of a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Kings Avenue and State Circle near Parliament House. A second crash was earlier reported by the ACT Emergency Services Agency at Kings Avenue and Parliament Drive, however it is unknown whether this was in fact a separate incident. Earlier in the evening the ACT Emergency Services Agency asked drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area, as State Circle was experiencing significant traffic delays. Traffic in the area has since returned to normal.
