Police have called for public help to find a Canberra man who has been missing for more than three years. Michael Ketley, 64, was last seen on his bicycle leaving a house in Hawker in January 2018. Police issued a statement on Tuesday urging anyone with information to come forward. “At the time, he stated he was headed to northern New South Wales or Queensland for a change. He has not been seen or heard from since,” police said. “While it was not out of character for Michael to be uncontactable for long periods, he was reported missing by family in December 2020.” Police have conducted “significant” enquiries since the report but has never been found. Mr Ketley is described as being of Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm (6 feet) tall, with brown hair, brown eyes, and of slim build. Police hold concerns for his welfare and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him. Anyone who may have any information that could assist police in locating Mr Ketley is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444. Please quote reference number 6695252.
