Voting booths are open across Queensland, as the major party leaders make last-minute pitches to voters in what has been a marathon race to the state election ballot box.

After nearly two weeks of operation and with extended hours, polling booths opened their doors at 8:00am for the final time today as the remainder of Queenslanders cast their votes.
