It is alleged patrolling officers spotted the vehicle a short time later and used tyre stingers to stop the car on Carnation Dr in Mooroobool.The males allegedly fled with the Dog Squad giving chase and taking one of them into custody about 35 minutes later in a creek.The second male was arrested at a residence on Friday morning.It is understood one of the teens was released on bail earlier this year after being charged over a robbery.The pair were both charged with armed robbery in company with violence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter premises and commit indictable offence, while the second teen faced a further charge of deprivation of liberty and two more counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence.They were both due to appear in the Cairns Children’s Court.Cairns police Insp Brad Winks said the staff would have been “terrified” during the incident but did the right thing and complied with the alleged demands.He said all of the allegedly stolen cash had been recovered.
