The first flight of Skywhalepapa is under a cloud with wet weather threatening to put a dampener on Saturday’s event. The National Gallery of Australia has not confirmed if the first flight of Skywhalepapa would be postponed. The event was scheduled to go ahead on Saturday, however the Bureau of Meteorology has forecast rainy weather with the chance of thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon. An NGA spokesperson said the gallery had not yet made a decision postpone the event.
