Two people are dead after a light plane crashed into a paddock north of Canberra. A NSW Police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to a property on Tallagandra Lane at about 4.30pm following reports the plane crashed into a paddock. Two people on board died at the scene. Officers from the Hume Police District have established a crime scene and have started inquires. They are expected to remain at the scene for several hours.
