A 22-year-old woman was sitting on the footpath with another woman when they were approached by a stranger about 11.40pm.Police allege the man then threatened the woman for money. When the woman refused the man kicked her in the face, causing her to lose consciousness. She was taken to hospital in a stable condition. Police wish to speak to the man pictured in the video about the serious assault. He is described as caucasian and was wearing a black cap, red jumper, black shoes and carrying a black Adidas shoulder bag.Anyone who may recognise the man in the CCTV or know his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
