Police are no longer treating the death of a woman whose body was found at Scarborough Beach as suspicious.
A WA Police spokesman said officers were called to the beach about 5.30am on Sunday after the body was found in the water near the Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club.
Scarborough Beach had been closed while homicide squad detectives worked to determine the woman’s identity and cause of death, but it has since been reopened to the public after her body was removed.
Police have since identified the woman and deemed her death as not suspicious. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
