The Smithsonian’s National Zoo decided to bring the ZooLights tradition to the roads of Washington this year as the zoo remained shut as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. “The 24-foot ZooLights Express truck, festively decorated with light displays and featuring ‘Panda Claws,’ will hit the road November 27 to December 19 and visit one Washington ward each Friday and Saturday night from 6-8 pm,” the zoo said.
